Switchboard Upgrades
Most Sunshine Coast homes older than 15 years were built before modern safety switches (RCDs) were mandatory. An outdated switchboard — whether it still uses ceramic fuses, has no RCD protection, or is showing signs of wear — puts your home and family at risk. We replace old boards with modern units, wired correctly, tested, and certified the same day. Most jobs are done in 3–5 hours with a planned power-off window we coordinate with you in advance.

Why it matters
Signs you may need an upgrade: no safety switches on any circuit, ceramic fuses (not circuit breakers), the board feels warm to touch, breakers trip frequently, discoloured plastic around switches, or the board is more than 25 years old.
